What's more , if a man's stare is more than 4 seconds then research suggests that he is more than impressed. But if the eye contact breaks 8.2 seconds barrier he could fall in love.... wow !
However, women treat both hunks and geeks alike with their eyes lingering both for similar amounts !! GOOD FOR US !!! hehehe
To reach conclusions, researchers used hidden cams and secretly tracked eye movement of 115 students as they spoke to actors and actresses they considered beautiful. They were then asked to rate the attractiveness of the partner they spoke with.
The journal archives of sexual behaviour reported that men looked into the eye for 8.2 seconds for the beautiful stars but fell to 4.5 seconds for the less beautiful or attractive stars. The female students however didn't differ in amount of time they spent looking at the actors ! Men use eye contact to find out fit and fertile females !
